FAQ
Which Aceclofenac strengths and pack sizes can I order?
Aceclofenac tablets come in 100mg and 200mg, in packs of 30, 60, 90 or 120. Larger packs cost less per tablet.
How can I pay for Aceclofenac delivery to Hong Kong?
For Aceclofenac orders to Hong Kong, pay by Visa, Mastercard or American Express on a secure, encrypted payment page, or with Bitcoin or Ethereum. Card details never reach the shop's servers. Every order ships in plain, unbranded packaging.
Which brand names does aceclofenac have?
Brand names for aceclofenac include Airtal, Acenac, Dolokind, Hifenac and Zerodol. Aceclofenac tablets are a pure generic aceclofenac product and are not any of those brands.
Is aceclofenac the same as diclofenac?
Not quite. Aceclofenac turns into diclofenac in the body after it is swallowed, which is why the two behave alike: both block the enzymes behind pain and swelling, and both come with stomach-bleeding and heart warnings. The differences lie in the tablet and the dosing schedule.
Can I take aceclofenac with paracetamol?
Yes, they are often used together. Paracetamol dulls pain through different pathways and does not add to the stomach or bleeding risk, so there is no clash between the two. Adding a second anti-inflammatory such as ibuprofen or aspirin is a different matter — two NSAIDs together raise the odds of a stomach ulcer.
Can I drink alcohol with aceclofenac?
An occasional drink is unlikely to cause a problem, but heavy drinking while you are taking an NSAID makes bleeding in the stomach more likely. Long courses for arthritis are the ones to be careful with. Alcohol may also add to any dizziness the tablets cause.
Can I take aceclofenac if I have asthma?
For most people with asthma, yes — unless aspirin or another anti-inflammatory has ever set off wheezing, a rash or a runny nose. Aceclofenac belongs to that same family of medicines, so the reaction can repeat. Asthma on its own, with no such history, is a different matter.
About Aceclofenac
What aceclofenac tablets are used for
Aceclofenac is an NSAID, in the same group as ibuprofen, naproxen and diclofenac, taken for painful, swollen joints and muscles. Its main work is long-term joint disease: rheumatoid arthritis, where the immune system attacks the joint lining; osteoarthritis, the wear-and-tear type; and ankylosing spondylitis, which stiffens the spine over time. Short courses also help muscular aches, back pain and shoulder injuries. Tablets come as 100mg and 200mg, in packs of 30, 60, 90 or 120.
It works by slowing the COX enzymes that make prostaglandins, the signals behind joint pain and swelling. That dulls the pain for as long as you take it; it does not repair the joint.
Taking your tablets
The usual adult total is 200mg a day: a 100mg tablet in the morning and another in the evening, or one 200mg tablet. Both are swallowed with water. Tablets that give you indigestion can go down with or after food, which changes nothing about how much reaches the blood. Pack size follows how long you need them, 30 for a short course and 90 or 120 for regular arthritis use.
Side effects to expect
Stomach trouble leads the list: indigestion, stomach pain, heartburn, nausea and loose stools. Headache, dizziness and rashes turn up less often, and liver enzyme tests can rise for a while before settling.
Less common but serious: an ulcer or a bleed in the stomach or gut. Stools that turn black and sticky, blood in vomit, or severe stomach pain that comes on suddenly all need urgent treatment. Swelling of the lips, face or throat, a spreading rash, or sudden trouble breathing is a serious allergic reaction — also an emergency. Taken for months, NSAIDs carry a small extra risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney strain.
What not to combine it with
Two other NSAIDs cause the most trouble. Ibuprofen, naproxen or even low-dose aspirin taken with aceclofenac makes a stomach ulcer far more likely than aceclofenac alone.
Warfarin and other blood thinners, and steroid tablets such as prednisolone, raise the bleeding risk. Lithium and methotrexate levels climb, and blood-pressure tablets work less well.
