Cenforce D

Two medicines in one tablet

Cenforce D is a two-in-one tablet. One half is 100mg of sildenafil, the medicine behind Viagra, which lets blood flow into the penis when you are aroused so that an erection forms and holds. The other half is 60mg of dapoxetine, a short-acting SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) taken for premature ejaculation, which slows the ejaculation reflex and gives you longer before climax. Men who deal with both problems at once can take one tablet in place of two products. If you need only one of the two jobs done, sildenafil is sold on its own, and dapoxetine is sold alone under other brand names.

Taking a tablet, and what spoils the timing

Swallow one tablet with water an hour or so before sex. Sildenafil is active from about half an hour to four hours after it goes down, and dapoxetine is taken one to three hours ahead, so an hour sits inside both windows. One tablet in 24 hours is the ceiling. A fatty meal can slow absorption, and a lot of alcohol adds flushing, dizziness and a racing pulse while working against the erection itself. Keep the strips sealed and out of direct sun.

Side effects, and when to stop

On the sildenafil side, expect headache, a flushed face, a blocked nose or indigestion now and then. The dapoxetine side tends to add nausea, loose stools, dizziness and poor sleep. Most of it fades as the tablet wears off. Priapism, an erection that does not go away after four hours, and a sudden loss of sight are the situations to treat as emergencies. Do not combine the tablet with nitrates, meaning glyceryl trinitrate, isosorbide dinitrate and other angina medicines, because the pair can pull blood pressure down sharply. Dapoxetine also clashes with other medicines that raise serotonin.

How Cenforce D sits among the combination tablets

Super Kamagra, Super P-Force and Viagra With Dapoxetine all hold 100mg sildenafil with 60mg dapoxetine, the same pair of doses as Cenforce D. What separates them is the name on the box, not the strength. Extra Super P Force is the exception: its dapoxetine is 100mg. Every one of these is an ordinary tablet taken the same way.
