FAQ
What pack sizes does Fulnite 2mg come in?
Fulnite comes as 2mg tablets in packs of 50, 100 or 150. Larger packs cost less per tablet.
Is the parcel for Fulnite discreet?
Every order ships in plain, unbranded packaging with nothing on the outside about the contents. You can track your order on the tracking page. If a parcel does not arrive within the delivery window, or arrives damaged, it is sent again free, or refunded if that is not possible.
What are the alternative names for Fulnite and eszopiclone?
Fulnite is a branded generic of eszopiclone. Eszopiclone is also sold as Lunesta. Here, eszopiclone can be bought online as Fulnite, and also as Hypnite. These are generics, not the original brand.
How quickly does Fulnite work?
Swallow it in bed and expect to feel drowsy inside half an hour; the peak effect is around an hour after the tablet. A meal eaten shortly before can push that back, so a lighter, earlier dinner tends to mean a quicker start.
Does Fulnite keep you asleep, or only help you fall asleep?
Both. Eszopiclone is used for trouble getting to sleep and for waking in the night, and it cuts down the number of times you come briefly awake. It does not treat the reason you are sleeping badly, so a late shift or a noisy flat will still affect your nights.
How long can I keep taking Fulnite?
It is meant for short stretches — a few weeks at a time is typical. Taken every night for months, the body gets used to it and the dose stops working as well; stopping after long use can bring a night or two of worse sleep before things settle.
Is Fulnite the same as zopiclone?
Not quite. Zopiclone is a pair of mirror-image molecules, and eszopiclone — the ingredient in Fulnite — is just one of them, used on its own. That is why eszopiclone tablets come in much smaller strengths than zopiclone ones.
Will I feel groggy the next morning?
Possibly. The 2mg tablet is mostly cleared overnight, but drowsiness and dizziness on waking are common, and more likely if you take it late, drink alcohol with it or get less than seven hours of sleep. A coffee will not clear it any faster; only time does that.
About Fulnite
A 2mg tablet for nights you cannot switch off
Fulnite is a 2mg eszopiclone tablet for insomnia — the nights when you are tired but your brain will not switch off, or you wake at four and lie there. Eszopiclone is a non-benzodiazepine hypnotic. It is not a benzodiazepine, but it works on the same calming pathway in the brain, turning down the alert signals that keep you awake. It is short-acting: it helps you drop off and stay asleep, though some people still feel slow the next morning. The tablet is for the moment you are already under the covers, swallowed with water: it acts within about half an hour, so anyone still moving about the flat may end up unsteady. Keep it for nights with seven or eight hours free, and take no second tablet if you wake at three, since one a night is the limit.
The bitter taste, and other things people notice
A bitter, metallic taste is the side effect nearly everyone on eszopiclone mentions; it can linger into the next morning, and sipping water or sucking a mint after the tablet takes the edge off it. Drowsiness, dizziness, headache and a dry mouth are common in the first few nights. More seriously, some people eat, walk about or even drive in the night while not properly awake and remember none of it afterwards — a known effect of this class of medicine. Trouble breathing, or swelling of the face, lips or throat, needs emergency care. Mood changes, including a worsening of low mood, are also reported.
What not to mix it with
Alcohol makes the sedation heavier and the next morning worse, and it is the combination most often behind those night-time episodes. Opioid painkillers, benzodiazepines and sedating antihistamines add to the drowsiness as well. The antifungal ketoconazole slows the way your body clears eszopiclone, while carbamazepine, used for epilepsy, speeds it up. Herbal sleep remedies such as valerian add to the effect too.
Fulnite or Hypnite?
Hypnite carries the same ingredient in 1mg, 2mg and 3mg tablets, which gives it a lower starting strength and a higher step than Fulnite. Fulnite is the 2mg tablet only, in packs of 50, 100 or 150. Pick Hypnite if you want room to go down or up; the eszopiclone page sets out the strengths.
