FAQ
Which Zepdon pack sizes can I order?
Zepdon 400mg tablets come in packs of 60 or 120. What you receive is Zepdon. The page shows the price per tablet in Hong Kong dollars, and the 120 tablet pack works out lower per tablet than the smaller pack.
How do I pay for Zepdon when ordering to Hong Kong?
Pay for Zepdon with Visa, Mastercard or American Express on a secure, encrypted payment page, or with Bitcoin or Ethereum; card details never reach the shop's servers. Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours if not yet dispatched. Support answers 24/7 in English and Cantonese by live chat.
What is another name for raltegravir?
Zepdon is a branded generic of raltegravir, the ingredient in Isentress. Here, raltegravir can be bought online as Zepdon, and also as generic Isentress. These are generics, not the original brand.
Is Zepdon the same as Isentress?
They contain the same active ingredient, raltegravir, in the same 400mg tablet strength. Isentress is the original brand name; Zepdon is another brand of raltegravir. The tablets are taken twice daily in the same way.
What happens if I miss a dose of Zepdon?
Take the missed tablet as soon as you remember. If the next dose is almost due, skip the missed one and carry on with the regular schedule. Never take two tablets together to make up for a missed dose.
Can I take antacids with Zepdon?
Antacids containing aluminium or magnesium can interfere with how raltegravir is absorbed, and they are one of the few over-the-counter products with a known interaction. Check the ingredients of heartburn remedies before taking them alongside it.
Does Zepdon cure HIV?
No. Zepdon lowers the amount of virus in the blood and helps the immune system recover, but HIV stays in the body. It is taken long term, every day, together with other HIV medicines.
About Zepdon
Zepdon is raltegravir in 400mg tablets, a medicine for HIV-1 infection. Raltegravir belongs to a group called integrase inhibitors: it blocks the enzyme HIV uses to insert its genetic material into the body's own cells, so the virus copies itself less and the amount of HIV in the blood falls. It is always used together with other HIV medicines rather than on its own, and it does not cure HIV. The ingredient write-up is on the raltegravir page.
How Zepdon is taken
One 400mg tablet twice a day, at the same times each day, with or without food. The tablet is swallowed whole, not split, chewed or crushed. Keep taking it when you feel well: skipping doses or stopping lets the virus become resistant to treatment, and the other HIV medicines in the regimen should not be stopped either. Regular blood tests track how well the treatment is working.
Side effects
The usual ones are nausea, headache, dizziness, tiredness and trouble sleeping. Less often, a widespread rash with fever or blistering skin, swelling of the face, yellowing of the skin or eyes with pale stools and pain in the upper right of the stomach, or unexplained muscle pain and weakness with dark urine are signs of a serious reaction and need prompt treatment. As the immune system recovers on HIV therapy, an infection that was already present can flare up and cause new symptoms.
Interactions and storage
Heartburn tablets are the everyday trap: antacids with aluminium or magnesium interact with raltegravir. Rifampicin, a tuberculosis antibiotic, lowers its levels. Vitamins and herbal products belong on your medicine list too.
The bottle should stay closed, at room temperature, away from heat and damp. Leave the little desiccant packet in it.
Isentress and related listings
The same raltegravir 400mg tablet is also sold as the original brand, Isentress. Other HIV medicines sit in the HIV category.
