Tadalafil tablets in three strengths
Tadalista is tadalafil, sold as 10mg, 20mg and 40mg tablets for erectile dysfunction — when a man cannot get or hold an erection firm enough for sex. Tadalafil belongs to the PDE5 inhibitor group. It works on the arteries in the penis: they widen so blood can fill them once you are aroused, and nothing much happens without that arousal.
Tadalafil has two other licensed jobs: the urinary problems an enlarged prostate can cause, and pulmonary arterial hypertension (raised pressure in the arteries of the lungs). Both sit at different strengths from the ones sold here. Tadarise and Cialis are the two tadalafil products that carry the prostate use.
How and when to take it
One tablet roughly an hour before sex is the usual plan. Tadalafil is slow and long-acting: taking it anywhere from half an hour to four hours ahead still works, and one dose keeps going for up to 36 hours. No more than one dose in 24 hours, whichever strength you have. A rich, fatty meal can hold up the start. Too much alcohol on the same evening makes headache, dizziness, a pounding heartbeat and low blood pressure more likely.
